A top Biden Administration official has been caught lying under oath to Congress about President Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board.

Now you may be saying to yourself, wait, the Disinformation Board has been paused. And yes, we told you that it has been put on hold, but now we’re learning about what work this board was already doing BEFORE it was even announced to the American people.

A whistleblower has come forward and provided a number of classified Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents to Senators Josh Hawley and Chuck Grassley regarding the Disinformation Board, which the Senators have just released.

As announced by Senator Hawley:

New whistleblower documents, obtained by U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), expose shocking new details about the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) planned Disinformation Governance Board. The documents reveal that DHS drafted plans for the Disinformation Governance Board as early as September 2021 and explored the possibility of partnerships with Big Tech companies like Twitter to assist in their efforts.

These documents make it clear that this board was never what the Biden Administration claimed. It had nothing to do with combatting Russian cyberattacks or drug cartels. This was about the Left controlling the “free speech” of Americans.

Earlier this month Sen. Hawley grilled Sec. Mayorkas regarding the formation of the disinfo board and the choosing of Ms. Jankowicz as its leader. Sen. Hawley uncovered a major inconsistency about the timeline:

Hawley: I’m sure there are documents pertaining to this board, minutes of meetings, communications about who would serve on the board. Will you release those to this committee?

Mayorkas: Senator there are not yet. This governance . . .

Hawley: Wait a minute. There are no minutes of meetings about this board? You’ve not created any records?

Mayorkas: It has not yet begun its work.

According to Sec. Mayorkas on May 5, 2022, the Disinformation Board had not begun its work, and yet on April 27th, nearly ten days earlier, Nina Jankowicz tweeted:

Cat’s out of the bag: here’s what I’ve been up to the past two months . . . Honored to be serving in the Biden Administration @DHSgov and helping shape our counter-disinformation efforts.

So Biden’s Secretary of the Department Homeland Security (DHS) says the board had not begun any work, but its head said she’d already been working for two months. Which is it?

What we now know from the documents is that the board had been working for some time by May 2022. DHS began drafting plans for the board as early as September 2021, and even explored partnering with big tech companies like Twitter.

On February 24, 2022, Sen. Mayorkas signed the board’s charter, at which point it was officially formed and operational. In fact, they were planning a meeting with representatives from Twitter on April 28th to “Propose that Twitter become involved in Disinformation Governance Board Analytic Exchanges on Domestic Violent Extremism (DVE) and Irregular Migration.” which would also be prior to May 5th when Sec. Mayorkas claimed it hadn’t begun working yet.

And remember, when the Biden Administration says “Domestic Violent Extremism,” they’re referring to American parents who voice objections to Leftist curriculums and policies. Biden’s DHS tags them the same way they do terrorists.

As we’ve told you, we’re taking action to find out what Biden’s Disinformation Board is really up to. Right after the board was announced, the ACLJ submitted an urgent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request demanding all records pertaining to the creation of the board. But the Biden Administration once again chose to ignore our FOIA, leaving us with no other recourse and so just this morning the ACLJ legal team filed a lawsuit against DHS.

We will expose who is behind this board, if it has really gone away – which, make no mistake, it has not – and why they want to control your speech, and even spy on you.

Today’s full Sekulow broadcast is complete with even more in-depth analysis of these newly released documents, including from ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy Ric Grenell who called these revelations “scary” and “dangerous.”
